Clayton is the Chief Technology Officer at Dimagi. For over 10 years, Clayton has led engineering initiatives in designing and developing ICT systems that improve service delivery at the last mile. At Dimagi, Clayton leads technical mobile development of CommCare, Dimagi’s leading, open source platform that is enabling non-programmers in over 50 countries to build digital applications. His research has focused primarily on developing clinical protocols for low-resource settings.
Prior to Dimagi, Clayton worked as a developer at the Advanced Materials Laboratory division of Sandia National Labs. He is a lecturer for the User Interface Design group within the Department of Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Clayton holds a B.S. and a Masters in Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT.
